FRM COLORADO HOMECOMING EVENT 2019
We reunited with long time Front Room Music "family" in Colorado
to celebrate the Equinox and the release of Jim's COLORADO CD.
The weather was simply ideal, especially after the long hot summer in TX!
Special thanks to Honelyn and Scott Maiers for graciously hosting the house party
and rare performance by Jim Stricklan and Steve Fulton.
It was a delight to see dear old friends, and make new ones!

















For anyone traveling to Denver, we highly recommend a stay in charming Littleton,
with wonderful parks and trails, groovy shops
and great local eateries like Angelo's Taverna,
where we lingered on the sunny terrace with the Maiers (photo left)
savoring outstanding chef-prepped dishes
like roasted beet salad and buffalo ravioli
along with the superb mountain views.

We were blown away by the super friendly service and authentic Mexican food
in the cool shady patio at Adelita's Cocina y Cantina on Main Street,
which boasts extensive tequila and mezcal offerings, with a spirits expert to guide you.
(They also have a sunny roof deck with mountain views).

Littleton has easy access to Red Rocks or up to the mountains via Morrison,
as well as superior public transportation to downtown via Denver Metro Light Rail,
with a convenient stop right in front of our "special place",
the historic Buckhorn Exchange restuarant and museum.
