Joanne Stato grew up in New Jersey and has lived in Maine, Colorado, Arizona, Virginia, Maryland, and Florida. She was a member of the Baltimore Songwriters Association and has been active on the coffee house and songwriter circles in Colorado and, more recently, the Sunshine State. Joanne’s witty and evocative songs chronicle her life experiences. Her song "STARRY NIGHT" was been showcased on two BSA CD compilations, and her beautiful, nostalgic song "DENVER" is on the Front Room Music Album (Volume 1).

Twenty years--following the release of her first CD, TALKING TO MYSELF--she is offering a second studio album of new original songs! With the help of Adam Book, she spent a day ON LAKE LINGANORE, in Maryland, recording these gems, all reflecting her signature imagery.
