LINER NOTES:

Jim Stricklan by Matt Lankes ANTHOLOGY celebrates my Austin-based independent studio albums and compilations, the title tracks of those CD's comprising this retrospective.

My first two studio records — vinyl LPs — were recorded in Houston (1980) and Denver (1983).
All the rest, released on compact disc, represent my most significant music work over
the thirty years Leslie and I made our home in Austin, Texas. I sincerely hope that by
listening to these title songs, you’ll be inspired to go deeper into my music catalogue
and hear what there is to enjoy.

My earliest Austin CDs were recorded at Music Lane, Lonestar, and Flashpoint in the 90s.
A 3-CD collection — the DAYDREAMER box-set — was recorded and mixed in our Front Room Music Studio.
All my 21st Century albums were recorded, mixed and co-produced
by George Coyne, at Parrot Tracks Studio in Manchaca, Texas.
Jerry Tubb mastered most of these albums at Terra Nova Digital Audio in ATX.
BAH Design created artwork for my earlier Austin CDs, while their "alumna"
Michelle Rahbar of Mothership Arts designed this one and most of the others.
Michelle also designed show posters and a full-color book called 50 Years of Making Music.
Leslie Stricklan shot the [Anthology] front cover photo and Matt Lankes the portrait inside.
